This reclamation of an abandoned residence in Ben Washer Park will serve the needs of an energetic nonprofit and will satisfy the requirements of the sustainable WELL Building Standard. Bridge Kids International uses the power of African heritage to create communities that support the well-being of young people.

Targeting Platinum certification by both the LEED and SITES rating systems, this Learning Center will be home to a non-profit mandated to educate the public about all aspects of green building, landscaping, and broader notions of sustainable communities. It will accommodate a full menu of attributes including energy and resource efficiencies, occupant health and well-being, and will incorporate indoor + outdoor classrooms to facilitate the educational process.
